The hot welder disassembled
We designed and fabricated this cancer seed hot welder for IsoRay Medical, Inc. This hot welder is used for the creation of radioactive seeds containing Cesium-131 for the treatment of prostate cancer. As shown to the right, it is operated in conjunction with two different cameras providing calibrated views of the machinery.
