Chris Smith started Intellegration in 2003 and became full-time in 2004. In 2005, Intellegration was able to move into the current rented shop and office space, allowing in-house fabrication. Several part-time and full-time staff have been employed since then, in both the areas of machine design and fabrication.
We are hands-on engineers specializing in machine design, fabrication, assembly, and systems-level integration. We use the SolidWorks engineering software, allowing us to produce fully-articulating assemblies. These may give our clients a clear picture of the product, allowing for meaningful feedback before the cost of fabrication. Our fabrication experience also allows us to design products that may be manufactured cost-effectively.
Engineering Staff:
Intellegration has been featured in past issues of the Tri-Cities Tech Business Update, published by the Economic Development office of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Intellegration was awarded the Rotary Club’s 2005 Entrepreneurial Award after receiving a nomination from Battelle. Intellegration also received the national R&D 100 award for its innovative machine development to fixture rice grain-sized radioactive seeds for prostate cancer treatment.
Our customers have included IsoRay Medical, Flour Hanford/CHPRC, Advanced Imaging Technologies, Cadwell Laboratories, Allvac International Hearth, and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, operated by Battelle. We have many years of experience in both the medical and the nuclear fields.
